Educating for Collaboration: A Virtue Education Approach

چکیده

Given the instrumental value of good collaborations for societal flourishing, educating collaborators (viz., agents who have motivation and ability to collaborate with others) should be one fundamental goals contemporary education. Still, fostering growth dispositions needed successful is not explicitly considered a first-rate pedagogical goal in most virtue education programs. To remedy this omission, I propose virtue-based method developing through an that involves mixture three complementary educational techniques: i) collaborative problem-based learning, ii) physical education, iii) direct teaching. Learning learning educates students on motivations abilities epistemic pursuits, whereas teaches learners how non-epistemic endeavors, whilst teaching ties everything together by giving explicit understanding collaborations.
